Report for Novel Pneumonia Coronavirus in Wuhan

Residents of Wuhan Baibu Pavilion next door dictated: panic after closure of the City in Wuhan, some cases were missed by community investigation:

Zhang Lu, a resident next to Wuhan Baibu Pavilion, said that in fact, the most dissatisfied part is about the right to know. As early as January 24, the community came to the ambulance in the middle of the night, and has also come several times since then. My father and I, as well as many people in the community, have called the community and asked the grid members in the group, but they all said that there are no cases in our community at present. Let's follow the release of official news.

It has been more than a month since the outbreak of the COVID-19 Coronavirus . Whether it is a community in a city or a village in the countryside, everyone seems to be temporarily disconnected and isolated. It is necessary to wear a mask to get in and out of the community, take a temperature measurement, and the loudspeakers in the village are always broadcasting protective measures, and even cursing villagers who go out have become the norm.

Zhang Lu (pseudonym) lives in a community in Jiang'an District, Wuhan, and is only across the road from the Baibuting community, which is known for hosting banquets for thousands of people. In the eye of the epidemic, she felt incomprehensible about the lack of community control measures.

Zhang Lu said that it was not until February 12 that the staff at the gatekeepers of the community held a temperature gun, but not everyone measured it, and only older talents were needed. Prior to this, no one was required to wear a mask, register, and take a temperature while the resident was entering or leaving. The neighborhood is also quiet, there is no loudspeaker propaganda, and occasionally people who don't wear masks can go in and out.

After Wuhan asked for the city ’s strength to go home to investigate the “four types” of people, the grid members in the community asked everyone to report their temperature in the WeChat group. But Zhang Lu's family did not join the group, and only her father received a phone call in the middle.

Since the beginning of the year, ambulances have come in from time to time. However, the owners have called the community many times to get answers, and the answers are that patients are not related to the epidemic, and some people are not so alert. On February 12, the community suddenly issued an announcement announcing the buildings where the confirmed patients and fever patients were located. Under the question of the owners, the grid members said that the fever patients had been taken away by the ambulance, which made the residents feel a little out of control.

The following is Zhang Lu's dictation.

The neighbourhood is quiet, and I was reminded by the courier after I forgot to wear a mask.
Since the end of November last year, I have repeatedly traveled to Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places for business, and then returned to Wuhan to live, until I returned on January 17 and did not go out. Although we have seen unidentified pneumonia in Wuhan since the beginning of the month, we have always believed in the official caliber that the disease is not contagious, and only those who eat wild seafood in the market will be infected.
After Academician Zhong Nanshan announced the succession from person to person, we became more concerned. But the people around them, especially the elderly at home, just have a concept that the disease can be contagious. But they thought it was like influenza, and it didn't matter too much. It might be the news that everyone has seen all the time and described it too optimistically. On January 20th, my family went to Hanyang for dinner with relatives, and then I went to the company's annual meeting.

During this period, our community did not take any measures just as it did on weekdays. On the 22nd, the first few hours of Wuhan ’s closure of the city, the property posted a warm reminder for the Spring Festival at the entrance of the building. There was no word mentioning the epidemic. Prepare for the Spring Festival as usual.
It was not until the news of the closure of the city that everyone began to panic. There are a lot of elderly people living in our community, many of them do n’t even use WeChat or Internet, and the channels for receiving information are occasionally watching TV. They will feel that we are trapped in Wuhan, a little scared, but they will not think about paying more attention to protection, wearing masks and so on.
In this case, the publicity of the community should be very necessary. But it is puzzling that until now this work has been lacking. I have seen a lot of funny videos on the Internet. The village has been “scolding” people with big speakers. The community broadcasts broadcasts 24 hours a day, but we are quiet here and never have these. There were no inspectors in the community. I even saw several residents standing downstairs and chatting, and some masks were not worn.

The propaganda work of the community mainly relies on our young people. Everyone often sends some protective knowledge in the group to advise everyone to wear masks, wash their hands frequently, and some related articles. There were originally more than 100 people in the owner group. After the epidemic broke out, everyone passed around. By the end of January, there were more than 300 people.

Another strange thing is that until yesterday (February 12), no control measures were taken at the gate of the community, only two security guards in 50-60 years old were on duty. Sometimes I see people without masks coming in and out, but no one asks for registration, wearing a mask, and taking a temperature when the occupants come in and out. This matter has spread in other cities, and we are not in the epidemic center.

One day the courier asked me to pick it up at the gate of the community. I was in a hurry and I forgot to wear a mask. But all the way to the community, no one reminded me. In the end, the courier said, "Do you want to wear a mask?" I suddenly realized. It's quite ironic to think about it. Fortunately, my body is normal now.

Missed investigations and untimely notifications

I returned to my home from the company on January 22 and saw the QR code posted in the corridor. The above only describes the community group of the community. I did not specify what it is used for, so I did not add it. Later I learned that the community staff had built four groups, each group was responsible for several residents, and there would be a grid staff inside. That group should have been built for a long time. When I saw it, the piece of paper was already torn, but many residents did not add it.
Wuhan held a mobilization meeting for comprehensive investigation of the epidemic on February 6th. It is necessary to use the power of the whole city to go to the home and investigate the "four types" of personnel. What is said is not to leave a household and not to miss one person. Later, I looked at the screenshots sent by the neighbors. On February 6, the grid members sent a small program in the WeChat group to let everyone take their own temperature and then report it. Many residents are actually insecure. Everyone thought that they would come to investigate one by one, and they questioned in the group why they did it by themselves. What should I do if someone fills in and hides the report?

On February 7th, the grid members also said that the community requested to call each household to verify whether the actual number of residents and temperature were normal, but because they are also busy at work, I hope everyone will report it on WeChat or pick up the group , To lighten them. Soon he added that those who were not in the group would call and check again one by one.

As far as our family is concerned, we were not in the WeChat group until February 12th. We did n’t fill in a small program or pick up a cell. Only my father received a call once.
In fact, the most dissatisfaction of everyone is still about the right to know. As early as January 24, the community came to the ambulance in the middle of the night, and has also come several times since then. My father and I, as well as many people in the community, have called the community and asked the grid members in the group, but they all said that there are no cases in our community at present. Let's follow the release of official news.

A few days ago, we saw a pair of father and son asking for help on Weibo, and they lived in a unit of our building. The father was 70 years old and the son was 32 years old. The family originally lived and isolated at home. After the father and son went to the supermarket to buy food on February 6, they developed fever. On the 8th, both people had burned to over 39 degrees, and his son's CT showed a glass shadow.

This is really scary, because my mother also occasionally went to the supermarket in front of her. She has the habit of storing vegetables. After the outbreak, some of our owners will buy vegetables together online, and then pick them up at the gate of the community. But many people find it more convenient and richer to choose in the supermarket, especially for the elderly who can't access the Internet. Some people get infected after going to the supermarket to buy food, and we of course will be very scared.
I kept calling the community, and the response was that the situation was temporarily unclear, and it would be announced when it was determined. I called the father and son later, and they were diagnosed and admitted. I know there are many sick people who can't live in now, so they are lucky. Until now, the situation of the father and son has not been announced.

February 12 was a turning point. The community finally issued an epidemic notice, confirming that the two units of 11 buildings were confirmed, and many other units were feverish. The person who was diagnosed was not the father and son, so everyone caught off guard and got emotionally out of control in the group. After everyone's constant questioning, the grid members said that any problems were announced and had been taken away by 120.
This sentence even fry the pan, because before we asked if the ambulance took away the patients related to the epidemic, they all said no, now this is an indication that they are hiding from us.

I saw this announcement in the owner-built group, and let a neighbor pull me into the group where the gridman was. I repeatedly emphasized that we have the right to know, and the grid members responded and called the community if there was a problem. But the problem is that I did n’t miss it. I could n’t get any useful information after I hit it. If they have any comments or suggestions, they only said that they would report it, and then they would not leave it. The mayor's hotline didn't know how many times they had made the same result.

No one reports body temperature after residents's mood gets out of control.

We could have done better, and we don't have to panic like we do now. Many owners think this way. If you understand the real situation of the community from the beginning and report it in a timely manner, you will reduce the number of times you go downstairs. Because the community was considered safe, some people went downstairs to walk their dogs and went to the supermarket to buy food.

There are many elderly people in the community. Some of them have the habit of picking up garbage, and they have not stopped recently. There is only one in our unit. Every time he picks it up, he takes it up in an elevator. How panicky will the passengers be after that? We reported the situation to the community. The community said that the property had already been connected, but there was no way to do the work. This is actually a very important public health issue, but it has not been resolved.

Today, someone sent a video in the group saying that the garbage behind the 6 buildings is almost piled up into a mountain, and no one has cleaned it up. The people at the property seem to disappear. In fact, they should take on more work, but we haven't seen them from beginning to end. The owners are very dissatisfied in the group.

Our community is just across the road from Baibuting Community. There are only a few supermarkets around it, so we buy everything in one place. The news you saw a few days ago that there were a lot of hot spots in Baibu Pavilion may be more angry and worried, and I have more panic and anxiety.

In addition, we live only 10 minutes away from the South China Seafood Market by taxi. Many people like to run there and buy New Year's stuff. I was thinking before that I was really so lucky that no one was infected .

Gridmen will always emphasize that people with fever will post notices at the door of the unit. However, the residents of the 11 buildings have not seen any notices related to the epidemic at the entrance of the unit today, although some of them have been confirmed.

After the epidemic was announced on February 12, someone at the gate of the community finally took a temperature gun to measure it. They are wearing protective clothing and should be community workers. But when I first went out, I was only registered and still had no temperature. It turns out that not everyone needs to test, only older people need it.

Yesterday I was very angry, I sent a circle of friends angrily, and told the situation in our community. As a result, two or three friends quickly responded to me, saying that their community is similar. One lived nearby and was almost three or four stops away by bus.

In these two days in the community's network group, everyone's mood was a bit out of control. Many people scolded the community, saying that the staff did not work well, and the grid members asked him to ask if they would like to volunteer, and the community was short of staff. The grid members asked everyone to report their temperature in the group, and no one cooperated. In the end, he was also a little angry, asking everyone why it was so difficult to get a dragon, and no one came out.

I do n’t know how to do the community investigation in this way. What I am most concerned about is how many suspicious and confirmed cases are in the community, when did the first case appear, and whether their contacts were seriously isolated. If so, how can they solve their eating problems? After all, we all have the potential to be them.
